How many times have we found ourselves in front of the mirror getting ready for the night ahead? Rarely, does someone snap a photo of us at that moment. How confident must this person be with his own appearance that he would post such an image of himself on social media? And, what value does interpreting it as painting have in changing a viewer’s perception of the subject matter?
